On November 1st, starting at 6:30 pm, come celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ilê Aiyê with a historic and exciting show at the Concha Acústica do Teatro Castro Alves (TCA), in Salvador.

The show Ilê Aiyê - 50 Years will feature an Afro-Symphonic Concert directed by renowned playwright and artistic director Elísio Lopes Jr., with a carefully selected repertoire and special guests who will pay tribute to the beauty and strength of Ilê Aiyê, the first Afro block in Brazil.

This scenic-musical celebration is an invitation to relive the trajectory of Ilê Aiyê, which for 50 years has illuminated, inspired and fought for racial equality through music, dance and Afro-Brazilian culture.
